Description
When not cleared the advanced Supervisor
Password protection system is enabled (see below
diagram). Hereafter setting can only be accessed
when entering BIOS as Supervisor.
Only visible if Supervisor Password is installed.
Full Access: User can change all BIOS settings.
View Only: User can only read BIOS settings.
Limited: User can only read settings except: Date &
Time, Quick Boot, Quiet Boot, Repost Video on S3
Resume, Active State Power-Management and
Remote Access.
No Access: User can not enter BIOS, but if
Password Check = Always then User password will
allow boot.
Change the User Password
Only visible if Password is installed.
Setup: Protects only BIOS settings.
Always: Protects both BIOS settings and Boot.
Will write protect the MBR when the BIOS is used to
access the harddrive
Locks the HDD with a password, the user needs to
type the password on power on
