The AT-MC606 VDSL Network Extender features the four VDSL
Configuration DIP switches on the front panel. The UP/DOWN positions of
each switch are shown in "VDSL Configuration DIP Switches" on page 23
and defined in Table 4 below.

Unit is configured for the Subscriber Mode.

Unit is configured for the Provider Mode.
FAST
FAST mode guarantees a minimum end to end
latency less than 1 ms.
INTL (Interleaved) mode protects from impulse

noises with a duration less than 250 ms. This
results in a maximum end to end latency of
less than 6 ms.
Asymmetrical mode adjusts the Subscriber

unit line rates to be up to 100 Mbps for receive
data and up to 60 Mbps for the transmit data.
Symmetrical mode adjusts the receive and

transmit data rates to be approximately the
same in both directions for both the Subscriber
and Provider units.

The unit provides optimum Signal to Noise
Ratio (SNR) for VDSL line length of less than
305 meters (1000 feet).
9 dB
The unit provides optimum Signal to Noise
Ratio (SNR) for VDSL line length between 305
meters (1000 feet) and 3000 meters (9842
feet).
