TUFFUP Honda Tube

Tuffup Honda tube is a genuine Honda part specially
designed for the rear tire. The chamber in its inner
outer edge (tread area) is filled with a special fluid.
When a sharp object like a nail pierces the tire, the
fluid is pushed out by the inner pressure, blocking the
puncture and minimizing air leakage due to its special
fibers.
ATTENTION
• • • • • Tuffup Honda tube cannot prevent all types of
punctures such as:
– tire burst;
– damages outside the tread area (such as rim, tire
walls and areas which are not covered by the fluid
chamber);
– damages in areas where friction is caused by
rusted nails, etc./tube cut caused by metal objects.
– extensive damages, L-shaped damages or
damages with a diameter exceeding 3.0 mm
(0.12 in).
• • • • • Do not install an inner tube in a tire with different
dimensions from those indicated in the tube.
• • • • • Tuffup Honda tube is designed to withstand air
leaks caused by punctures made by sharp objects.
Sometimes the object remains stuck in the tire.
• • • • • Check the tire pressure and if the rim is wet with
fluid daily. Also check if there are foreign objects
embedded in the tire. In this case, remove them
immediately and take the motorcycle to your
authorized Honda dealer for service, even if the tire
pressure seems to be normal.
• • • • • The fluid may be spilled out when the embedded
object is removed from the tire. Avoid contact with
the fluid. In case of contact with your skin or eyes,
wash the affected area with water and look for
medical assistance immediately.
• • • • • Damages to the tube that can be repaired should
not exceed
3 mm (0.12 in). When
the damage exceeds
this limit, replace the
tube.
• • • • • When replacing the tire,
select a new tube with
the same dimension.
• • • • • Make sure the tube
pressure is as
specified.
