Error response defines the action taken when a document shorter
than the minimum length or longer than the maximum length is fed
into the Scanner 5500/7500.
The default for all modes is Display and Beep.
The options are:
— Display Error Message —results in an error message appearing
on the Operator Control Panel (E106–Doc Length Monitor
Warning).
— Display and Beep— results in an error message appearing on the
Operator Control Panel (E106–Doc Length Monitor Warning),
accompanied by an error tone.
— Stop, Display, & Beep —which results in the transport shutting
down, and an error message appearing on the Operator Control
Panel (E214–Re-Scan-Length Monitr Er), accompanied by an
error tone.
Select Error Response from the Length Monitor menu.
