Example 5: Delete to Char
(Cill)
Using the Delete to Char function,
Un
delete a number of char-
acters up to-but not including-the specified character.

At the EDLIN prompt, type

Example 6: Void Line

In this example, first make a change to Line 1 and then, using
the Void Line function,

I, cancel that change. This leaves the
template unchanged and lets you continue making changes to
the same line.
