Removal
1-
Remove the control and data circuit board.
2.
Remove the chassis shield.
3.
Remove the stepper band.
4.
Remove the stepper motor cable plug, P3, from the servo
circuit board.
5.
Remove the two Number 1 Phillips screws on the bottom of the
drive, one at each end of the stepper motor.
6.
The screw toward the front of drive has a wire wrap covered
with shrink tight and two tie wraps.
Cut the two tie wraps.
7.
Remove the stepper motor from the chass is.
Installation
1.
Position the stepper motor shaft through the hole in
the chassis.
2.
Insert retaining screws and washers.
The retaining screw
toward the front of the drive has a wire wrap covered with
shrink tight.
3.
Route excess wiring from the stepper motor to the side of
the chassis.
