3.7 Connecting the PSU

I. AC PSU
The VG 21-08 uses a built-in PSU. Its specifications are as
follows:
Rated voltage: 100 VAC to 240 VAC; 50/60 Hz
Max. voltage: 85 VAC to 264 VAC; 47/63 Hz
Input current: 0.5 A to 1 A
II. Recommended power socket
You are recommended to use a 3-core single-phase power
socket with neutral point. The neutral point of the socket must be
grounded reliably. Normally, the neutral point of the power supply
system in a building was buried in the ground during construction and
cabling. You must make sure that the power supply system in the
building has been well grounded before connecting the AC power
cord.
III. Connecting the AC PSU
Step 1: Connect one end of the power cord to the AC-input socket
on the VG 21-08 and the other end to the AC mains supply.
Step 2: Power up the VG 21-08.
Step 3: Check that the POWER LED on the front panel is ON. ON
means the power connection is correct.
