FLOW AND RETURN PIPE CONNECTIONS
NOTICE
When using plastic pipes, observe the supplier's
instructions especially those referring to recom-
mended jointing techniques and the notes rela-
ting to the heating system water.
NOTICE
To prevent contamination in the heating system
we recommend you integrate a dirt filter in the
return pipe, near the boiler. In an old system it is
a requirement to install a dirt filter. Also install
shutoff valves to enable filter cleaning immedia-
tely upstream and down stream of the dirt filter
(scale cartridge or y-strainer).
When determining the size of the CH circuit pipes it is
essential to bear in mind the pressure losses induced by any
of the system's components and by the configuration of the
same system.
The route of the piping has to be conceived taking all the
necessary precautions in order to avoid air locks and to
facilitate the continuous purging of the system.
-
Connect
CH flow
pipe to the Supply connection making
sure it is not under stress. Use a supply pipe with a mini-
mum diameter of 3'' (80 mm)
-
Connect the return pipe with a fiat rubber seal installed to
the Return connection making sure it is not under stress.
Use a return pipe with a minimum diameter of 3'' (80 mm).
WARNING!
Before installing the boiler we recommend
that the system is flushed out with a suitable
product, in order to eliminate any metallic
tooling or welding residues, oil and grime
which could reach the boiler and affect the
proper running of the boiler.

WARNING!
Ensure yourself that the system's piping is not
used as the earth clamps for the electrical or
telephonic system. They are absolutely
unsuitable for this use. In a short time this could
cause serious damage to the piping, boiler
and radiators.
NOTICE
The pipe to be connected to the boiler must be
cleaned before connecting in order to prevent
dirt from entering and damaging the boiler.
WARNING!
IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO FIT ON-OFF
VALVES ON THE GENERATOR TO THE FORE
OF THE SAFTEY DEVICES
