On the Special Features screen, press [Mode Memory].

Press [Store/Erase].
If necessary, see the screen shot in step 3 of "Storing Scan/Print/Copy Settings," on p. 5-4.

Press [Register Name].

Select a key ([M1] to [M9]) to name ➞ press [Next].
