Troubleshooting
If the microscope does not function property, take appropriate action as described below. If the
problem is still not resolved after referring to "Troubleshooting," please contact your nearest
Nikon representative

Remedy
Install the Parts (nosepiece, condenser,
etc.) correctly.
Rotate the parts (e.g., optical path
switchover dial, nosepiece , filter cube
switchover dial) until you feel resistance.
Focus and center the condenser.
Open the field diaphragm slightly wider
than the field of view.
Clean. Use a clean container.

Adjust the ring correctly.
Focus and center the condenser.
Install correctly and rotate to the click
stop position.
Correctly reposition specimen on stage.

Reduce the voltage with the brightness

Should normally be set to 70 to 80% of
