Fully open the field diaphragm of
the fluorescence attachment.

open the shutter and center the

Set a specimen and move the

and secure in
place using the
specimen
holder.

Fully open the field diaphragm.
Select the
10x objective.
Move the portion to be viewed into the
optical path using the XY stage knobs.
Focus on the specimen using
the coarse and fine focus knobs.
