You will hear an intermittent tone at a
distance of approximately 180 centimetres
(71 inches) between the obstacle and rear
bumper and approximately 50 centimetres
(20 inches) to the side. Decreasing the
distance accelerates the intermittent tone.
A Distance Indicator.
As the distance decreases the indicator
moves towards the vehicle.
A continuous tone will start at a distance
of less than 40 centimetres (15 inches) to
the rear bumper.
