Cooling Mode
1. Working Conditions and Process
(1) When Tindoor amb. +Tindoor compensation≤Tpreset, the unit will start cooling operation. In that case, indoor fan, outdoor fan and
compressor will operate. Indoor fan will operate at set speed;
(2) When Tindoor amb. + Tindoor compensation ≤Tpreset-2°C, compressor will stop operation and in 30s later, outdoor fan will stop
operation. Indoor fan will operate at set speed;
(3)When Tpreset-2°C<Tindoor amb.+Tindoor compensation<Tpreset, the unit will keep previous operation status.
2. In this mode, 4-way valve will not be energized and set temperature range is 16~30°C.
3. In this mode, if compressor stops operation due to malfunction, indoor fan and swing motor will operate at previous status.
4. Protection Function
(1) Freeze protection of evaporator: in cooling and dry modes, when compressor has operated for 6 min.: if Tindoor pipe ≤2°C, the
compressor will decrease frequency; if detecting Tindoor pipe≤-1°C for continuous 3min, compressor will stop operation. In 30s later,
outdoor fan will stop operation. In cooling mode, indoor fan and swing motor will keep previous status; In drying mode, indoor fan will
operate at low speed and swing motor will keep previous status; when Tindoor pipe ≥10 and compressor has stopped operation for
3min., the unit will enter previous operation status.
(2) Protection when total current increases and frequency decreases:
when total current Itotal≤A, frequency is allowed to increase;
when total current Itotal≥B, frequency is forbidden to increase;
when total current Itotal≥C, compressor will decrease frequency;
When total current Itotal≥D, compressor stops operation and in 30s later, outdoor fan will stops operation.

Dry Mode
1. Working Conditions and Process
(1)When Tindoor amb.>Tpreset, the unit will start dry operation. In that case, indoor fan, outdoor fan and compressor will operate.
Indoor fan will operate at low speed;
(2)When Tpreset-2°C≤Tindoor amb. ≤Tpreset, the unit will keep previous status;
(3)When Tindoor amb. <Tpreset-2°C, compressor will stop operation. In 30s later, outdoor fan will stop operation. Indoor fan will
operate at low speed.
2.In this mode, 4-way valve will not be energized. Temperature set range is 16~30°C.
3.Protection function: it is the same as that of cooling mode.
Heating Mode
1. Working Conditions and Process
(1) When Tindoor amb. + Tindoor compensation ≤Tpreset +2°C , the unit will start heating operation. In that case, compressor,
outdoor fan and 4-way valve will operate. Indoor fan will operate at set speed and enter cold air prevention operation;
(2) When Tpreset+2°C<Tindoor amb. + Tindoor compensation <Tpreset + 5°C, the unit will keep previous operation status.
(3) When Tindoor amb. + Tindoor compensation ≥ Tpreset +5°C, compressor stops operation and in 30s later, oudoor fan will stop
operation. Indoor fan will operate at the mode of blowing residual heat;
(4)When the unit operates at heating mode, if it is turned off or changing heating mode to other mode, compressor will stop operation,
and in 2 minutes later, 4-way valve will be de-energized. (compressor is operating at heating mode.)
(5)When Toutdoor amb. ≥30°C, compressor will stop operation immediately and outdoor fan will stop operation in 30s later.
(6) When compressor is operating, if entering heating mode from cooling or dry mode, in 2~3min. later, 4-way valve will be energized.
(Tindoor compensation is determined by indoor unit. If there is no compensation for indoor unit, Tindoor compensation =0.)
2. Defrosting Conditions and Process
(1)When Toutdoor amb.≤5°C, and compressor has operated for accumulated 3 hours, if detecting that Toutdoor pipe <0°C for
continuous 1min, the unit will enter defrosting operation. (Note: Only when reaching any condition below, accumulated time will be
the forementioned conditions, time will not be cleared (including that the unit stops when reaching set temperature or for protection;
changing to fan mode, etc) .
(2)When the unit is operating at heating mode for continuous 45min, or for accumulated 90min, if reaching any condition below,the
unit will start defrosting operation:
Toutdoor amb. ≥5°C, Toutdoor pipe≤-2°C;
-2°C≤Toutdoor amb.<5°C, Toutdoor pipe - Tcompensation≤-6°C;
-5°C≤Toutdooor amb. <-2°C,Toutdoor pipe - Tcompensation≤-8°C;
-10°C≤Toutdoor amb.<-5°C, Toutdoor pipe - Tcompensation≤(Toutdoor amb.-3°C);
Toutdoor amb. <-10°C, Toutdoor pipe - Tcompensation≤(Toutdoor amb.-3°C)
determined by Toutdoor pipe when quitting last defrosting operation.
