Using multiple handsets

Registering handsets

You can register up to six handsets to your base. You must initiate registration of the
handset on both the base and on the handset. Both must occur within 60 seconds.

On the base: Press and hold (at least 3 seconds) the registration/paging key.

On the A510H handset (for other handsets see "Notes"):

Press the display key Regist

Enter the system PIN (the default is 0000) and press
This creates a connection to the base, but it may take some time.
Successful registration is shown on the display. Adjust the handset's setting using
the Ï Settings menu item
Please note

If six handsets are already registered with the base (all internal numbers
occupied), then the registered handset with internal number 6 (INT 6) is
replaced by the new handset. If this attempt is not successful, e.g., because
the handset INT 6 has an active connection to the base (e.g. a call or a menu
access), a corresponding message is displayed.

You should start the registration procedure for other Gigaset handsets and
handsets of other GAP-enabled devices in accordance with the respective
operating instructions.
u
To make available the Gigaset.net directory to the other Gigaset handsets,
the base transfers an entry with the name Gigaset.net to the local directory
of the new handset during registration

De-registering handsets

You can de-register all other registered handsets from each of the registered
Gigaset handsets.
