On the replacement clutch, measure 4 inches from the clutch, and then cut the cable.

Pull out the shaft.

Install the replacement clutch on the shaft.
e
Insert the red wire from the printer into the insulated displacement connector (IDC).
Note: Make sure that the wire is positioned under the contact element.
