    Class 3 outdoor/wet rated power supply. Read this manual through completely before attempting installation. Vicon’s Roughneck V926 Series of Camera Domes offers a compact domed housing incorporating a fixed camera and lens combination protected by a polycarbonate shell. They are configured for in-ceiling or in-soffit installation and are available for indoor/outdoor installations.

    Installation Unpacking and Inspection All Vicon equipment is tested and inspected before leaving the factory. It is the carrier’s responsibility to deliver the equipment in the same condition as it left the factory. Inspection for Visible Damage Immediately inspect the cartons upon delivery. Make a note of any visible damage on all copies of the carrier’s freight bill.

    Accessory Kit There is one (1) kit included with all configurations of Roughneck V926. It provides the necessary tool to attach the tamperproof lower dome: Description Quantity Tamperproof driver bit, ¼ hex T-15 Mounting the Unit The Roughneck V926 is intended for in-ceiling or in-soffit installation. The primary ceiling surface can be either a dropped ceiling or a hard ceiling with the thickness not exceeding approximately three (3) inches (76 mm).

    Operation When power is applied to the camera, the Roughneck V926 views the selected scene. Maintenance The Roughneck V926 Impact-Resistant Fixed-Position Camera Dome requires no scheduled maintenance except for the occasional cleaning of the lower dome. Care and Cleaning of Lower Dome The inside surface of the smoked (gray-tinted) dome is easily scratched.

    Shipping Instructions Use the following procedure when returning a unit to the factory: 1. Call or write Vicon for a Return Authorization (R.A.) at one of the locations listed below. Record the name of the Vicon employee who issued the R.A.
