Recording on TAPE

The tape deck of the unit can record signals only on Normal (Type ) tapes. It cannot record on High (Type ) and
Metal (Type
) tapes.

Start recording/ Pause the recording
1. Load a tape in deck.

Press the area marked 0 push open to open the cassette
holder.

Insert a tape.

Press the area marked 0 push open to close the cassette
holder.
Do not use a cassette with more than 90-minute recording time, for the
tape used with such a cassette is very thin and tends to cause troubles
such as entanglement around the pinch roller or cutting off tape.
÷ When there is a tape slack, wind the tape before loading.
2. Select the tape transport direction.
To reverse the transport direction :

Press the TAPE 2 3 key.

Stop playback.
÷ When recording is started, the tape is transported in the direction se-
lected in this step.
Check the tape transport direction indicator.
÷ Search the position you want to start recording in advance.
