1. Load a cassette tape.
1 Open the cassette holder
of deck B.

2 Insert a tape.
3 Close the door.
2. Select the tape transport direction.
To reverse the transport direction
1 Select deck B by pressing the
TAPE B key.

2 Press the TAPE B key so that
the desired direction indicator
appears.
3 Stop playback (by pressing the
7 key).
3. Set the recording condition.
Select the reverse mode.

÷ The Tape Equalizer cannot be used in recording.
Note that this cassette deck cannot record onto
Metal tapes.

÷ Differentiation between normal
(TYPE ) and high (TYPE ) tape is
set automatically.
÷ Remove tape slack before load-
ing.
÷ When recording is started, the
tape is transported in the direction
selected in this step.
÷ Wind the tape to the position
where recording is to be started.
