The Fitness Generation technicians are fully equipped and technically qualified to repair all makes and models of
equipment sold by The Fitness Generation Nationally.
On arrival if the equipment is under warranty the technician will ask for a proof of purchase, this will be a receipt or
warranty record from the place of purchase, if you are unable to supply this you will be charged for the time spent plus
parts, please ensure that you can supply an invoice or receipt prior to our service technicians arrival.
If you have misplaced your receipt then you must apply to your place of purchase for a copy.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

To Keep your equipment in first class condition we recommend that weekly preventative maintenance is carried out.
Cycles/Recumbent cycles
Checking pedal and cranks are tight and pedal straps are adjusted before starting exercise and undone
when completing exercise, lightly oiling pedals and cranks on a weekly basis.
Check seat and handlebar tension knobs are tight before exercising.
Console batteries where applicable are operating correctly and are not flat.
Chains are oiled monthly and adjusted when required.
General cleaning and maintaining your equipment will ensure a trouble.

Elliptical trainers.
Weekly tightening of bolts and nuts on all moving parts
Lightly oiling of pedal arms and cranks.
General cleaning of equipment and checking of console batteries where applicable,
Treadmills
Unplug treadmill from power socket before commencing cleaning.
Lubricating of walk belt on a 3 month basis.
Removing of motor cover and vacuuming under hood. Be careful of circuit boards use only soft brush around these
