Begin with Step 1 of the Problem Isolation Checklist to locate the appropriate troubleshooting routine for
the symptoms exhibited. From the corresponding routine, follow all instructions to determine the answers
to the questions posed; then the flowchart will direct you to the another step, procedure or replacement
suggestion.

Problem Isolation Checklist

Ensure that AC line voltage is within the operating range
tolerance for the printer, and that the unit is installed within an
acceptable environment. Turn 'On' the Power Switch.
Did the printer power up?
Go to Section 3.2.2: 'No Power'

Ensure that the printer has been correctly loaded with media,
(and ribbon where applicable) of an acceptable type. Press the
