Chapter 2 Front Panel Operations

Display Mode

DP800A series power supply supports the following display modes. The default is
normal display mode.
DP831A/DP832A: normal, waveform, dial, classic
DP821A/DP811A: normal, waveform, dial
Press Display  Disp Mode to set the display mode to "Normal", "Waveform",
"Dial" or "Classic". The default is normal display mode. This setting is stored in the
non-volatile memory and will not be affected by factory reset.
Normal: display the voltage, current and power values of all the channels in

number form.
Waveform: display the voltage, current and power values of the channel

currently selected in waveform and number forms.
Dial: display the voltage, current and power values of the channel currently

selected in dial and number forms.
Classic: display the voltage, current and power values of all the channels in

number (classic) form.
Tip
For DP831A/DP832A, when the current display mode is "Normal",

"Waveform" or "Classic", press
between the current display mode and dial display mode.
For DP821A/DP811A, when the current display mode is "Normal" or

"Waveform", press
