The Hard Floor Pad and The Portable Cleaner
THE HARD FLOOR PAD
By attaching the optional Hard Floor Pad to your Ultimate
G, you may dust bare floors. While the Ultimate G is turned
OFF, raise the Power Nozzle

Hard Floor Pad onto the nozzle opening using the spring
clips on the plate. Then lower the Power Nozzle by pressing
the Toe-Touch Control Upper Pedal
until the bristles touch the floor.
NOTE: The Hard Floor Pad should only be used when the
Ultimate G is in the Straight Suction Cleaner mode. When
using the Hard Floor Pad, lower the nozzle until the bristles
touch the bare floor. ❏
PORTABLE CLEANER SET-UP
Besides being a remarkable Upright Cleaner, the Ultimate G
can easily be converted into a portable cleaner for mattresses
and carpeted stairs.

To convert your Ultimate G to a Portable Cleaner,
make sure the Ultimate G is turned OFF, unplugged,
and the TechDrive ® is disengaged.

Remove the cord from the handle. With the Upright

and pull the handle straight up and out of the slot. (Bag

Insert the Portable Handle

Before installing the Hard Floor Pad, turn unit OFF, unplug the power cord
from the wall outlet and be sure the motor and nozzle brush have stopped.
