Hayes Commands Registers and Result Codes
The Hayes protocol allows the control of connections from the V.24 equipment in
exactly the same way as the V.25bis protocol.
Hayes also discriminates between the Command Mode and the Data Transfer
State. In a connection you can change back to the Command Mode with an
escape sequence (see Table 2-13).
The commands available in the ErgoLine D340 terminal are a subset of the Hayes
1200 Smart Modem commands.
