Resetting tripmeter

Switch on ignition.
Select desired tripmeter.
z
Push Tripmaster 1 button
for longer than 2 sec.
The tripmeter is reset to ze-
ro.

Range remaining

Range remaining 1 is dis-
played after reserve level is
reached. It is calculated on
the basis of your style of rid-
ing and the amount of fuel
in the tank; the reading indi-
cates the estimated distance
you can travel before the fuel
supply runs out.
If the motorcycle is resting
on its side stand, the level in
the tank cannot be measured
correctly, so this estimate of
residual operating range will
be inaccurate.
When refueling, fuel is not
registered by the Tripmas-
ter until the quantity added is
approx. one gallon (several
liters).
The determined residual
range is an approximate
reading.BMW Motorrad there-
fore recommends that you do
not try to use the full remain-
ing range before refueling.
