With all new BMW motorcy-
cles, the BMW Motorrad Ser-
vice Card protects you in the
event of a breakdown with
an extensive range of ser-
vices such as breakdown as-
sistance, motorcycle trans-
portation etc. (differing reg-
ulations are possible in indi-
vidual countries). In the case
of a breakdown, contact the
Mobile Service of BMW Mo-
torrad. Here you will find our
specialists ready to help with
both advice and action.

Maintenance work

Intervals
Some maintenance tasks
must be performed after a
certain time, others depend
on the distance covered by
the motorcycle.
BMW Running-in Check
The BMW running-in check
has to be performed when
the motorcycle has covered
between 300 miles (500 km)
and 750 miles (1,200 km).
BMW Annual Inspection
Some maintenance work
must be carried out at least
once a year. Other tasks
depend on the distance the
motorcycle has covered.
