Refer to "GENERAL" in chapter 3.

FUSE

Refer to "STARTING SYSTEM".

PTT SWITCH

1. Check:
Continuity
Out of specification → Replace.

PTT RELAY

1. Inspect:
PTT relay continuity
Out of specification → Replace.
PTT relay continuity:
Sky blue (Sb) - Black (B)
Light green (Lg) - Black (B)
Terminal 1 - Terminal -
Terminal 2 - Terminal -
Terminal 1 - Terminal +
Terminal 2 - Terminal +
2. Check:
Relay operation
Does not function → Replace.
Checking steps:
Connect the tester between the termi-
nals of the PTT relay as shown.
Connect a 12 V battery.
Light green (Lg) lead → Positive terminal
Black (B) → Negative terminal
Check that there is continuity between
the PTT relay terminals.
