Carefully return the finisher to its original position.

Do not put your hand or fingers on the top of the finisher when
closing it.
They could be caught and this could injure you.
Close the front cover of the finisher.

1 Open the front cover of the finisher.
2 Remove the staple cartridge.
3 Take the empty staple case out of the staple cartridge.
Pull up the empty staple case while pushing both sides as shown in the
figure.
