Chapter 4 : UPDATING THE DEVICE
The device can be updated thanks a computer (PC) via its RS-232 communication port.
Power OFF the device.
Connect the RS232 connector of the device to the serial port of your computer with a DB9 M/F straight cable.
Open the file: Scan 1600.exe (in Start > Program > ANALOGWAY > SCAN1600 updater).
In the Port menu select the Com port connected to the device.
Click on START on the software.
Press and hold the ENTER front panel button, and simultaneously power ON the device. The update will start. Then
you can release the ENTER button.
When the software displays: Program operation completed, click on the Quit button to close the update software.
Your device is now ready to work.
