While Charging The Remote
Slow Alternating Red Charger in preconditioning state
Transition to fast charge when battery voltage reaches 3.0V
Fast alternating red Charger in fast charging state
Transition to top off when battery trend begins to decline
Slow alternating Green Charger in top off state
Transition to complete after 60 min in top off

Transition Indicator lights go out after remote is removed
ERROR Indications
Recovery is automatic after temp cool to below 30C
Solid both red while in charging cycle Battery temp reaches 55C
Recovery is automatic after temp cools to below 45C
If this condition continues the batteries may be faulty
Both fast blink red while in charging mode The battery voltage exceeds 5.5V
Recovery is accomplished by removing the remote from
charger
Possible indication of the wrong battery type such as
alkaline batteries
Note: If the re-chargable batteries are not charging properly, check the Charger Switch under the Base/Char-
ger to be sure it is set to "ON."

The Battery Level Indicator is at the upper left side of the CAB-2 Screen.

in tuning the performance of your LIONEL products. From time to time, more Options may
be added to particular product types.
