WHISTLE HORN SIGNALS
The following is an abbreviated list of signals for use with the LEGACY Real-Time Quilling Whistle or Horn.
The superior ability to control the duration of signals with the CAB-2 Warning Sound Controller makes issu-
ing these signals easy and accurate.

obscured;

Note: When Crew Talk or Tower Com Icons in the Touch-Screen keypad are negative (darkened),
pressing them in that condition will trigger a negative reply from the Tower as to status of the
orders i.e. "NOT cleared for departure" or "HOLD your position" etc, and the response will be posi-
tive i.e. "Cleared for departure" if the Icon is not negative. This feature enables you to play out a
scene where the engineer is waiting for departure and fi nally get the order when YOU decide it is
appropriate
1. With ENG addressed, open Touch-Screen control panel
2. Press AUX 1
3. Display Crew-talk and Tower-com Touch-Screen icons become negative
4. Press icon to trigger negative dialog

L, M, H MOMENTUM

L, M, and H are momentum levels in all LIONEL LEGACY Control System equipped engines.
Choose momentum level
1. Press L, M, H
Press and hold M
1. Open display to choose from 8 levels of
medium momentum
2. Use Velocity Throttle to adjust
3. Release M
Change momentum settings while underway and check out the response. It is easy to
change your acceleration and deceleration rate while moving, just press the L, M, or H
button.
LEGACY Momentum makes a train operate more realistically. But it take a long time to
stop, just like a real train.
If you have a Target Speed that is 0 and a Train Speed that is high and you want to stop
fast, try the L button! You can also use full braking on the Independent Engine Brake (pull
it all the way), which is almost as fast.
