Camshaft rear seal, replacement

Check pump setting
Turn engine two fuLl turns lntil cyl. 1 is ai top dead
center - injeclion, again. lf engine is turned too tar il
must be turned back approx. 1/4 turn and then to '0'
mark otheMise setting wilL be incorrecl.
Dial indicator should show:
D 20 .............-.............
0.7F0.83 mm = 0.0295-0.0327
in
D 24 ...........................
0.65-0.73 mm = 0.0256-0.0287
in
D 24 USACanada
1979-1981 .................
0.65 0.73mm = 0.0256-0.0287in
1982-.........................
0.82-0.90 mm = 0.0323-0.0354in
Correct reading: Tighten injection pump mounting
bolts. Proceed to P18.
lncorect reading: Readjust according to instructions
