Remove iniectors
Use 27 mm socket {Volvo P/N 1158146}.
Lift out h€at shields undsriniectors otherwise they will
be blown out during compression tesl.

Connect compression testel
Placea heatshield
incylind€r head and screwin adapter
5191. Ighten to 70 Nm {50 ft lbs).
connect compression tester to adapter.

Run engine and record
Compression

Install iniectors
Place new heat shields
injectors. Torque to 70
Reconnect delivery
Tightening torque 25
compression
= 3.2MPa{455psi}
= 2.4MPa (341 psi)
= 0.8MP. (114 psi)

Install pump plungor and
