Timing gear belts, rcplacement

Lock camshaft in posilion
Lift valve cover gasket
Place gauge 5190 at rear of camshaft. lnsert a 0.2 mm
feeler gauge beneath left side of gaugo to compensate
for timing gear clearance.
Camshaft is now set ai correct position.
Bemove camshaft Iront
Use 5199 to hold sprocket
bolts. Tap sprocket to free

Install gear belt and camshaft lronl sprocket
[4ake sure that belt fits se€urely on all gears.
Install center bolt, hand tight. lt should be possible to
turn sprocket on camshaft without camshaft rotating.

Instatl lower timing gear cover and vibration
damper
Dampercanonlybefitted in oneway. Pin on crankshaft
g e a r m u s t f i t i n v i b r a t i o n d a m p e r .
