When the distress transmission is completed, the screen is displayed as follows for a
few seconds.

The distress transmission is repeated at random intervals of 3.5 to 4.5 minutes.
On completion of the transmission, the screen is changed as follows. And the distress
transmission is repeated when the displayed time has counted down to zero.
