services available to extensions that are directly connected to the DBS 576HD system.

Network BLF Display - (VB-44730)

Panasonic's Network Busy Lamp Field (BLF) Display is a PC-based application that monitors the
activity (in use/on-hook/special feature set) of phone extensions across a Local Area Network (LAN)
or Wide Area Network (WAN).
Setting up the Network BLF Display system includes configuring a Server PC, Client PCs and
Browser PCs. Client PCs must be connected to a PBX system with an API card.

Caller ID Unit - CID/4 (VB-44515)

This card supports Caller ID on loop start trunks. The card "piggybacks," or installs, directly on top of
the Loop Start Trunk Card (VB-44514), and supports all four of that card's circuits for Caller ID.

Caller ID Unit - CID/8 (VB-44513)

This card supports Caller ID on loop start trunks. The card "piggybacks," or installs, directly on top of
the Loop Start Trunk Card (VB-44510), and supports all eight of that card's circuits for Caller ID.

DTMF Multi-Frequency Receiver Card - MFR/8 (VB-44110)

The MFR/8 card accepts dialed DTMF tones and determines the dialed digits. Each card contains 8
receiver circuits.
This card can be installed in any flexible slot. The maximum number of MFR/8 cards that can be
installed is one.

Conference Card (4 circuits) - CONF (VB-44120)

This is a conference speech card with four 8-party conference circuits. One conference card per
cabinet can be installed into any flexible slot. An 8-party conference can consist of 8 extensions; 7
extensions + 1 external line; or 1 extension + 7 external lines (or any combination in between).

Application Processor Interface Card - API (VB-44131)

The API provides an interface path between the telephone system's information BUS and a personal
computer-based application (such as external integrated voice mail or external enhanced ACD).
External interface: RS232C port (19200bps maximum)

Special Application Processor Interface Card - SAPI (VB-44132)

This 4-port card is the same as the API (VB-44131), above, but installs in special slot 2
(in standard
cabinet VB-44030
only), and does not occupy a free slot. DO NOT insert this card while unit is
powered on.
External interface: RS232C port (19200bps maximum)
Integrated Feature Module Card (8 circuits) - IFM
(Voice
Mail)(VB-44191xxx)
The IFM (Integrated Feature Module) card provides a plug-in platform for running numerous PBX
applications internally, such as PanaVoice Courier voice mail, Voice-over-IP, or enhanced ACD. The
IFM card includes a Pentium II 266 MHz PC running Windows® NT, a voice processing section with
8 voice circuits, a PBX interface, and a power supply.
The IFM includes an RJ-45 10/100 Base-T Ethernet connector and two serial COM ports. A laptop PC
with a LAN port and a LAN Crossover cable is required for configuring the IFM.
