10. In the Gateway IP field, set the IP address of the gateway.
11. In the DNS server IP field, set the IP address of the DNS server.

9.3 Connecting the Inverter to Sunny Portal
Requirements:
☐ The inverter must be connected to a network with Internet connection.
• Connect the inverter to Sunny Portal and register in Sunny Portal (see the user manual of the
inverter in Sunny Portal)
9.4 Changing the Country Data Set via Communication
Requirements:
☐ A communication product that is appropriate for the type of communication used must be
available.
☐ The changes to the grid-relevant parameters must be approved by the responsible network
operator.
☐ An SMA Grid Guard code for changing the grid-relevant parameters must be available
(see certificate "Application for SMA Grid Guard-Code" at www.SMA-Solar.com).
1. Access the user interface of the communication product.
2. Enter the SMA Grid Guard code.
3. Select the Set country standard parameter and adjust the required country data set.
4. Save settings.
