Locate the VFO encoder, lock washer and two hex nuts. Thread one nut onto the shaft until it reaches the
end of the threads as shown in Figure 15. Note that a small gap between the nut and the encoder body is normal.
Carefully position the encoder with its shaft through the opening in the front panel while mating the four
pins with J6 (see Figure 16).
