Your FOMA terminal is checked if it needs an update. Go to step 2 in "Running software
update by selecting the icon".

Scanning function

This function detects data and programs that are imported to the FOMA terminal, and deletes data
or stops launching applications that could cause some fault.
The Scanning function prevents the data that causes some fault from invading your FOMA terminal when viewing
websites or receiving mail. If pattern data for a failure is not downloaded to the FOMA terminal, or if pattern data
for certain failure does not exist, it may be impossible to delete the harmful data using this function.
Updating pattern data
First, update the pattern data to the latest pattern data.

starting with the highest-level problem.
If 6 or more problems are detected, the names of the 6th and
subsequent problems are omitted.
