Early warning "Area Mail"
What is Area Mail?
Area Mail is a service that enables you to receive Early Warnings issued by the Japan Meteorological Agency.
When the FOMA terminal is in the service area, Area Mail is automatically received.
A subscription to i-mode is not necessary to receive Area Mail.
Area Mail cannot be received regardless of the Receive setting in the following cases:
- The power is off
- During a videophone call
- In Self mode
- When Connection mode is set to Single mode (Wi-Fi)
