Do not remove the manufacturer's specification sticker put on the FOMA
terminal.
If the content of the sticker cannot be confirmed, determination of whether
technical standard is satisfied cannot be made. Thus, requests for repair may be
rejected.
The settings of the functions may be cleared (reset) due to the damage, repair or
improper use of the FOMA terminal. In this case, configure the settings again.
If the FOMA terminal is repaired, regardless of which part was faulty, the MAC
address for Wi-Fi and the Bluetooth address may be changed.
Magnetic components are used for the following parts of the FOMA terminal. A
cash card (ATM card, bank card), etc. which is easily affected by magnetism, may
become unusable if it is kept close to the components:
Parts: speaker, earpiece and mouthpiece/microphone areas
This FOMA terminal is waterproof. However, if any internal part of your FOMA
terminal gets wet or moist, immediately turn the power off, remove the battery
pack, and bring the FOMA terminal to a repair counter as soon as possible. Note
that repairs may not be possible depending on the condition.
i-mode fault diagnosis site
The service lets you check if your FOMA terminal's i-mode is working
correctly for operations such as sending/receiving mail, and downloading
images/ring tones. When there seems to be a malfunction as a result of
checking, please contact "Repairs" on the last page of this manual (in
Japanese only).
