Installation Unpacking and Inspection All Vicon equipment is tested and inspected before leaving the factory. It is the carrier’s responsibility to provide suitable delivery. Inspect the carton(s) upon delivery and, if damage is present, make detailed notes on the carrier’s bill. Then, obtain the carrier agent’s signature and file a damage claim as soon as possible. -

The cursor wraps around when moving up and down. The following is a description of these controls: Note: DIP switch SW1 must be set to pole 7 ON and pole 8 OFF to function correctly for Vicon protocol (default); baud rate must be 4800 bps. When Vicon protocol is set, baud rate automatically sets to 4800 bps. -

Competitive Protocols The dome also provides functionality with competitive protocols Pelco D/P and Samsung. Settings for these protocols are done on DIP SW1. DIP switch SW1 must be set to Poles 7 and 8 OFF for Pelco and OFF/ON for Samsung. Refer to page 19 for all DIP switch settings. The dome has function keys to support the following functions: 1-64 + preset and 100~200 + preset are used for preset and 65-99 + preset are used for functions. -

Autoscan Set The 98+Preset Save button works to bring up the AUTO SCAN menu. Note that when autoscan is set, the digital end angle zoom position and the tilt angle (coordinates) are set where they are when autoscan is set; remember to set the zoom and tilt to desired position before programming autoscan. -
