Operation Sound and Tally
Settings
You can select whether to enable the operation sound as well
as illumination of the tally lamp.
Operation sound
Set using [OPERATION SOUND] in the [CAMERA
SETTINGS] menu. (A Page 66)
When this is set to [ON], operation sound is output from the
built-in speaker.
If a headphone is connected, no operation sound will be
output from both the built-in speaker and headphone.
Tally lamp
Set using [TALLY] in the [CAMERA SETTINGS] menu.
(A Page 66)
When this is set to [ON], the tally lamp lights up in the
recording mode.

Displaying the Hour Meter

The hour meter displays the total time during which the
power of the camcorder is turned on.

Select [HOUR METER] in the [DISPLAY SETTINGS]
menu. (A Page 65)
2 .
Press the center of the Set Lever.
● The hour meter appears.
3 .
Press the center of the Set Lever again.
● Returns to the menu screen.

Restoring the Default
Settings
You can reset the menu settings to their default values.
However, the time code/user's bit, date/time, and hour meter
cannot be reset.
1 .
Select [RESET ALL MENU] in the [CAMERA
SETTINGS] menu.
2 .
Press the center of the Set Lever.
● The [RESET ALL MENU] screen appears.
RETURN SETTINGS TO
DEFAULT SETTINGS?
SELECT

Restore the default settings.
Push the Set Lever up or down to select [EXECUTE].
Next, press the center of the Set Lever.
● The menu screen closes, and the settings are reset to
their default values.
The camcorder reboots automatically if there are changes
in the [SYSTEM SELECT] menu.
