Select the communication rate by sliding the BAUD RATE switch to:

Select position 1 of the POWER switch. This initiates the following
indicator response:
POWER indicator lights green.
Micro-floppy drive indicator blinks twice.
Winchester drive indicator blinks twice.
Winchester drive indicator lights red.
Micro-floppy drive indicator blinks once.
Both the micro-floppy and Winchester indicators remain off.
