You can also add personal information or a message, such as
"This Kindle Touch belongs to [your name]. If found, please
call xxx-xxx-xxx." To do so, follow these steps:
Note that when you "name" your Kindle with your name and
phone number, it appears on the Home screen. If you include
it in the personal information, it only appears on the Personal
Info section of the Settings menu and won't be readily apparent
to anyone who might happen to be looking at your Kindle
Touch.
Setting the e-mail address
on your Kindle Touch
Your Kindle Touch has an e-mail address, and with it, you can
send personal documents to your device. If you buy books
and don't want to sideload them to your Kindle Touch via the
USB cable, you can simply e-mail them to your Kindle Touch.
When you turn on wireless, any documents you e-mail to the
device download and appear on your Home screen. (For more
about loading your own documents on the Kindle Touch, see
Chapter 4.)
The default Kindle Touch e-mail address is derived from the
name on your Amazon account, followed by @kindle.com.
You might want to change the e-mail address to something
that's easier to remember or corresponds to the name you've
given your Kindle Touch. To view your Kindle Touch's e-mail

7. Click the Update button.
1. On the Kindle Touch, tap the Menu button, tap
Settings, and then tap Personal Info.

3. Tap Save to complete the process.
