Registering your Kindle Touch

If you bought your Kindle Touch for yourself through
Amazon, it's delivered to you already registered. However, if
you bought the Kindle Touch from a store (such as Target,
Staples, or Best Buy) or received it as a gift, you need to
register it.
You can register your Kindle Touch from the device itself or
through your account at Amazon via your computer. The key
piece of information you need when registering via a computer
is the serial number, which can be found on the box or on the
Device Info menu.
To register your Kindle Touch using the device, follow these
steps:

your computer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the wireless is on by tapping the Menu
button and then selecting Turn On Wireless.
2. Once the wireless is on, tap Menu again, tap Settings
and then tap Registration.
3. Enter your Amazon login credentials (your account
e-mail and password).
The Kindle Touch inputs its own serial number, so you
don't need to enter it.
4. Tap Submit to finish registering your Kindle Touch.
That's it! You can now buy books and other content
from Amazon and have them delivered wirelessly to
your Kindle Touch.
1. Go to www.amazon.com.
2. Click the Your Account link in the upper-right corner.
3. From the main account page that appears, scroll
down to the Digital Content section and then click
the Manage Your Kindle link.
4. If prompted, enter your e-mail address and pass-
word, and then click the Sign In Using Our Secure
Server button.
