NOTE
In most cases, headlights should
be ;,imed as shown in figure 1.
When state or local laws differ
from these specifications, how-
ever, lights should be aimed to
conform with such laws.

Locate the car on a level floor
(with no passengers in the car), with the
headlights 25 feet from the aiming screen

and aim the high beam as shown in figure l,
as follows:
1940'-42-Remove the headlight rim.
Adjust the headlights by means of screws
shown i:n figure 2, 3 or 4.
19.'19-Remove the chrome ring. Adjust
the headlights by means of screws shown in
figure 5.
1936-.'18-Loosen the headlight mount-
ing bolts ( 1, fig. 6) and move the lights as
required.
