DOUBLE WISHBONE FRONT SUSPENSION CONSTRUCTION

Improved roadholding
• The heightened damper lever ratio has improved the efficiency of shock absorber operation.
— Damper lever ratio:
shock absorber stroke (B)/wheel vertical
stroke (A)
— The heightened damper lever ratio has made
it possible to provide a damping force even
during minute strokes. As a result, excellent
roadholding is exhibited in a variety of driving
conditions.
Optimized roll axis position
• The height of the front roll center is set lower than
the rear.
• Change of roll center height in response to a
change in wheel stroke has been suppressed in
order to improve roll linearity and convergence.
