- Pin 2 "Output to starter circuit" (PURPLE) – heavy gauge relay satellite from the remote start
module must be connected to to starter wire in the car (Finding Wires in the Vehicle).
- Pins 4 and 6 "High current 12V input" (RED) – heavy gauge relay satellite from the remote start
module must be connected to +12V permanent in the car (+12V in the key switch).
The rest of the wires from the remote start module can be left unconnected.
For the new PASSAT also the wire from the clutch switch must be connected (eventually through
a relay for polarity inversion ) to Pin1 (BLUE) " Status output" of the 4-pin satellite (561T) in order
for the engine to start.
