Troubleshooting Procedures
To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury or death, disconnect power to unit before servicing, unless testing
requires power.
Component Electrical Testing
Thermistor resistance 60k ohms.
Heater check including thermostats.
POWER HEATER
Disconnect harness and
test White wire Pin 2 on
Heater Relay to Blue wire
Pin 1 on Power Relay.
Approx 26 ohms ± 5%

Heater check.
Input
To check the heating element only, disconnect the red
wire from the thermostat and check across the red wire
and the blue wire on the power relay. Heater resistance is
approximately 26 ohms. To check the heating element
and thermostats from the console, check across the blue
wire on the power relay and the white to the heater relay
with the connector removed.
