    The static pressure in any exhaust system must not exceed 0.48 inches of water column, or be less than 0. This can be measured with the dryer running with a manometer at the point where the exhaust duct connects to the dryer. A no heat setting should be used. The dryer tumbler should be empty and the lint filter clean.

    If a power cord is not used and the electric dryer is to be permanently wired, the dryer must be connected to a grounded metal, permanent wiring system; or an equipment-grounding conductor must be run with the circuit conductors and connected to the equipment-grounding terminal.

    INSTALLATION Parts and literature are packaged inside of dryer drum. To Install... Move dryer to an appropriate location for installation. Consider installing the dryer before the washer in side-by-side installations, to allow access to gas, electrical and exhaust connections. Lay two of the carton corner posts on the floor. Tip the dryer forward on its front so it will lay across both corner posts.
